Will the Statistics Support Program?

What comes to mind when you hear the words "convicted felon?" Most people tend to think trouble. Through the FCI Morgantown Prison Project, we hope to change the typical stereo-type of convicted felons by increasing the productivity and employment rate of recently released inmates.

The success of the project will be measured statistically through observation. For example, How long it took the felon to aquire employment. Theconvicts will be required every month to provide information about employment and the effort they are exserting.

The results of this questionaire will be compiled statistically and conclusions will be made on the raw data that was provided by the felons. This will help measure the success rate of the program and give insight on how well this model will work in other federal and state penitenaries.
